Retail for gift shop?

I am opening my own skin care studio and gift shop. Anyone have suggestions on where to purchase gift items at a good wholesale price? Also what kinds of items do you like to see at a spa gift shop? I have already purchased some natural rocks/crystals and salt lamps, but that's about it so far. Certainly not enough to open the store part. I know about universal companies and pure spa direct, I'm looking for items that a more gifty. Thank you ahead for any ideas that you share.

Hi Patricia. Congratulations on opening your own place! I also own a skincare studio and sell some gift items that are made by my mother and another client. My mom makes beautiful crocheted scarves and wraps and my client sells her handmade jewelry made with semi-precious stones. I would certainly be willing to put you in touch with them directly or work as a go between if you are interested in purchasing some of their items to sell in your shop. Congrats, Patricia. It's very exciting to be working for yourself instead of someone else. It won't be as easy, but keep plugging away, day by day, and it will be worth it. It really depends on what kind of products you want to retail in your gift shop. Universal Companies has some items (herbal spa neck wraps), but I usually like to work directly with each company that I plan on retailing. For example, I retail the light up lip glosses from the Lano Company, organic body care from Green Envee, GrandeLash MD (eyelash and brow serum and mascara); a few other items. Good luck with everything!

Good morning, thank you for all your suggestions. I will share with you some places I have found as well this past week. All natural botanicals, new age imports or also known as new age incense. I may even purchase a few things from geocentral and khoeps international. Have a great day.
