Consider Dermalogic Chromewhite C-12.  I have seen a good result with overall brightness of the face. Clients are happy with the results.  Also, they must use an exfoliator at home and of course,  SPF ! I suggest one with titanium dioxide and zinc.

Hope this helps.

thankyou very much ! i'll try and see!

Global Solutions Skincare by Pamela Springer is specifically for skin of color. I have been using her products and use them in my studio. Her hyperpigmentation retail and backbar treatments are awesome. She has free webinars every month you can check out her facebook fanpage and her website www.pamelaspringer.com

Stephanie

oh! that is gr8!!! i have not heard of her yet! i have used other europeon brands with limited sucess!

i will try ANYTHING ABOUT NOW!!! i think i will try diff suggestions on my diff clients and see what works best !!

Check out Skin Script.

This line was formulated to be appropriate to use on ethnic skin.

I haven't yet done the TCA peel protocol for hyperpigmentation and melasma (which sounds like what your client might have), but that peel protocol sounds perfect.

FWIW - a LOT of my darker skinned and older clients in my area are obstinate about using sunscreen. Make sure that they understand how important this is to achieve successful results. I sell the Skin Script spf 30 - which is not greasy and dries matte, and have them use a powder sunscreen for reapplication later in the day if they wear makeup and don't want to re-apply the cream spf

Cindy , u have hit the nail on the head!!! NO ONE wants to use greasy sunscreen!! so , i feel they tell me they use sun screen but are not!! so, this skin script has a powder sun screen?? wow! that sure will have a better reception by my clients!

Oh the powder sunscreen I am retailing is not Skin Script...it is Go Screen - someone on another fourm said that they were not taking on any more retailers but I don't know that for a fact.

Many makeup lines have this...I first was using the Colorscience Sunforgettable when I was an employee at another place. But I don't carry makeup in my own biz.

I found out that the Bare Minerals "Mineral Veil" is supposed to be spf25...so if you can't find one to sell you could probably at least find something to recommend to them.

Yeah - I KNOW they are not using sunscreen! Some will admit it, some won't.

I have half a mind to make them sign a CONTRACT so they know I mean business! :)

LOL!! thanks for this! BTW i did ck in skin script and did not see the powder spf! i was going to post about that today and u did it! my problem is many of these mineral make up has skin tones which are suitable to most races except it seems Indians!! i will ck Colorscience for myself and then let them know! i am going to try all the recommended products with few of my trusting clients and then see what to order!
