Hello.

I am curious to learn more about the spin-trap antioxidant crystal samples I recently received. Can anyone tell me about the origin of them. How do you use them? Are they truly awesome as they are claimed to be? I'm particularly interested in the scientific background of them.

Thanks

Marcia

The antioxidant commonly referred to as "Spin Trap" is phenyl butyl nitrone (although there are other versions that are also called Spin Trap sometimes too).  They basically capture the free radicals so that the cascade of damage can't be ignited.

This article on them seems pretty interesting: http://www.beautymagonline.com/beauty-articles-4/1112-spin-traps-2
