I have a small skincare business, just myself. I am looking for some great ideas to promote my business for the summer months. I want to offer some enticing specials to my clients... does anyone have any creative ideas?

I'm doing a "Beat the Heat" special-75 min. $ 79. Cold stone facial with Lavender scalp massage and peppermint foot scrub.

Yum! That sounds lovely.

I want to go see Deborah!

Come on in-NW San Antonio, TX-haven't sold any as yet!

Summer facials incorporating Skin Scripts delicious scented fruit enzymes and pairing the enzyme with a same or similar scented massage lotion for arms and sugar lip scrub.  I was able to purchase the lotions and sugar lip scrub from Salon Centric.

that sounds nice..how much are your charging for that?   I haven't had much luck with the fruit facial promotion but we are in florida and people tend to not want facials in the summer months.

Like Sheila, I'm offering "Sweet Summertime" Facials using Image Skincare products, incorporating SkinScripts yummy enzymes, corresponding body lotions/oils for massage and have added glitter tattoos for an extra sparkle in the sun!  They're so inexpensive to purchase with a great ROI, very easy to apply and even big kids like them (adults)!  I bought most of my supplies at the Premiere show in Orlando from Amerikan Body Art.  They also have a website.  ;-)

I stole your idea Debbie!!!  OOPPS busted :).  LOL

why not, it does sound good.

Sheila, I don't call that stealing - it's called sharing, my friend.  ;-)

Hi there! Just a quick website tip for when you decide on a special. Once you have put your special on your site, for example on your services and rates page, put a sentance in the description tag (but don't forget to change it back when the special is over)! When people find your site in a Google search, the special description will be right on Google's page so they'll click-through to your website. Promos are supposed to bring in new clients, so this helps you get new clients online!

I'm not sure if you've considered henna tattoos, but that seems like a potential seller in the summer. Here's a good resource for information: http://www.hennapage.com/henna/what/freebooks/index.html

If you like, check out our carboxy masks for face and body...at around $18 for face and $23 for body, you can easily charge $50+ for an amazing treatment.  If you have not heard of these masks, we just created a video http://youtu.be/lNmyboXQ0MA

If you are interested you can also purchase the from our corporate site  healingzone.net
