This is all super helpful! Thank you so much! I am definitely hiring an employee as opposed to a contractor, because I want to be able to train them. I know it's more expensive but it will be worth it in the long run. The flash card idea is great. I was thinking of making a chart of products/skin types and conditions and checking next to each applicable condition for each product... But your way is much easier for them to grasp and remember. Thank you SO much. <3
Hi Ally,
I was wondering how your progress has come along? I also hired an employee (who is amazing) but it still is hard to let go of the reigns sometimes.
Hey Ally, I was wondering how your training went? I am getting ready to bring on a new Esti - she went to the same school I did so that is a big help. I don't have to train her how to specifically do the treatment the way I do. I am thinking to have her start out part time - 1 day with office help, product training and 1 day with clients. I have a very small space right now so we need to work out of 1 room. I have to many days with clients and trying to reduce that so I can work on my business instead of always working in it. Any tips and tricks that worked for you would be greatly appreciated. Do you pay her just a straight hourly salary? What about after training? Office hours vs Client hours same salary?
