transfer of Esthetics license to Texas from North Carolina

I will be relocating to Texas and would like to transfer my license but I found out that Texas requires 750 hours and I only have the 600 hours that is required in NC.  I was told that I could test out ....any suggestions only preparing for the retest and would I be required to do a hands on demo as well? Thanks for any information provided. SD Martin
