I have an interview with Ulta next week for an esthetician position.

Has anyone worked for Ulta; and, if so, was your experience a positive or negative one?

Do they require you to sign a non-compete contract?  Thanks so much!

Are you a new estie?  Will you be part time or full time and what will you be doing?  Facials, waxing, makeup, sales?  What are your career goals?  These questions are important because depending on where you are in your career this could be a good opportunity for you or it could be a waste of time.  I am a seasoned estie and just accepted a job at a franchise spa, which typically takes on new estheticians. I am in a place in my career where I am okay with this seemingly "step down" because I view it more as an opportunity to coast awhile. I read reviews on some of these chain businesses such as Ulta and it seems that each place is unique and dependent on the manager and workers so you might want to consider the people who are interviewing you, if you will be working with them and if you feel comfortable with them.  Lots of luck!!!
