Here is an update on the TN Med Spa issue. If you are licensed in TN it is important to watch. For the rest of us, this is just the beginning of a nationwide movement. ASCP will keep monitoring the situation and give periodic updates.

Tennessee legislation: The Tennessee Department of Health's Med Spa Study Group will meet on Feb. 21 to discuss recommendations for legislation. This is a public meeting and ASCP encourages estheticians to attend, to make sure your scope of practice is protected and have your voice heard. The meeting is at 4 p.m. on Feb. 21 in the Poplar Conference Room, 227 French Landing, Heritage Place Metro Center, Nashville, TN 37243.
