Hi I have some glasses I wear over my readers when I do eyelash  extensions.  I purchased them from Xtreme. You may be able to find them through an eyelash extension company who sales to lic estys with Xtreme you can only buy if you take the class.  They come in different strengths.  Hope this helps

Hi Vicki!

I use Bio-Therapeudics BT-Vision Visor. It has several magnification lenses that you can change out, has an adjustable head strap and a light on the top that you can move.  It's one of the best tools I have.  I purchased it from the San Jose Face & Body show for less than $50.. You may need to copy and paste the link below into your browser.

I am feeling the same way!

My mag lamp is just not cutting it for eyebrows.

I want to spend my money wisely - and not be wasteful (i.e. I am cheap!)

I am looking at the OptiVisor

And this inexpensive one through Harbor Freight

I check out all the vendors at the trade shows that are selling them for $40-$90 and they all look like the Harbo Frieght ones. Not sure how they are better or different.

I think the picing on the BT Gear is higher normally - but the $40 special sounds ok.

Any others?

ETA - the HF ones are so cheap - plus they had another model for $6.99, I went ahead and ordered BOTH to check out - they have a flat rate shipping of $6.99.  I will give feedback after I have tried them out.

hi cindy, I really appreciate if you share your findings about the magnifier glasses, I'm looking for one that works thank you!

I know this is a really old discussion but just in case anyone else is still looking...

A really good place you can look for optivisors is at hobby stores. I have one that I use for hobby electronics, and you can usually find a whole range of them (similar to the Harbor Freight ones) in different magnifications and prices if you look for any store in your area that's aimed at hobbies like electronics, model trains, remote control airplanes, and that sort of thing.

I have the same ones-first pair from an local wholesale esthetic company $ 85.00-one of the lenses dropped and broke off tab-then finally the other so went to Harbor Freight -different packaging only $ 4.95-the one for 6.95 was exactly the same, again just different package.  I like the fact that there are 4 lenses and you can put two at a time to make them stronger. some of the gals have $ 1800.00 ones! I'm sure they are more comfortable and better made.
