Wax on carpet

It happened..I got wax on the carpet! What is the best way to lift it up and out of the carpet?

Iron over brown paper worked for me. Also, I have carpet too and I put down the plastic things that you use for rolling chairs? It works awesome!

Thanks everyone! I used wax cleaner and let it soak for about 1 minute and then scrubbed with gauze. Worked amazingly!
