www.perfectbrow.com. They provide seminars on brow waxing, shaping and tinting. They also carry a great variety of stencils to create the perfect brow. I attended and am glad I did, alot of specialized knowledge.
Thank you Tracy for the information

I have not waxed siince 1991.  We only use sugar paste instead of wax.  Benefits for someone who feara making a mistake with wax is sugar.  Sugar mistakes can be washed away with water since it is water soluble.  Unlike wax, sugar can be re-applied without fear of irritating the skin.  All clients enjoy  being 'sugared' and have not had one client ask for waxing throughout these 23 years.  Clean up is easy and more sterile since it can all be washed away, not scraped.

Hi Catherine!

I use all Satin smooth products, they have an organic soy wax (soft) and also a product called BeBare it is not a wax but a Botanical,Soy Based formula that never dries or sticks to the skin....it is applied VERY thin and can be reapplied up to three times.  They also have contour strips for eyebrows that come in muslin and non-woven to help with anyone learning how to do eyebrows or uncomfortable....take as many classes as you can to help you feel comfortable with eyebrow waxing.....with all companies, you can never have too much education and will learn something new in every class..I've been waxing since 1985 ...I agree "the perfect eyebrow is a WONDERFUL book!

Hope this helps!

I use satin smooth too!! I love them! LOVE LOVE LOVE them!  I tried to get someone at the last hair show to show me the BeBare but nobody had time.  I love the zinc wax and the new honey with argan.  I know, everybody usually hates honey, but with the argan...its beautiful!

If you say it's good I might try the honey. After my Gigi All Purpose wax experience I'm pretty gun shy when it comes to honey. Worst crap ever. And always the culprit when I hear a story about lifted skin.
Thank you Anette.

You are welcome.....I forgot to mention....lol I am a Satin Smooth Educator for 9yrs.

I am not a fan of honey waxes either but the Argan oil wax is great. It works best on oily skin, coarse hair. Satin Smooth waxes are low melting temperature. One tip always remember....if the wax is too hot it will burn the skin,if the wax is too cold it will lift the skin.

Amy,where are you from?  They have separate classes for BeBare, the trick is thin, thin, thin application.  You want to be able to see through it, like saran wrap . Also if you like the zinc oxide you would LOVE the organic soy, it is great for dry skin, but can be used on anyone with fine to coarse hair....great for bikini and sensitive skin clients...

We've been doing some classes at shows on BeBare as well,so always check out our classes in the brochure.

PS I love this page!!
