Is it normal to experience more stubborn and hair breakage with clients who are receiving a first time Brazilian or bikini wax? This happens only to my first time brazilian waxers. I dont have this problem with my more experienced waxers.  Why does this happen?

hmmmm, are these client's shavers?  If so, what you may be experiencing is the hair that can't be grabbed by the wax being left behind because it's too short.

What type of wax are you using?  Hard or Soft?  Client's with course, thick hair can tend to exhibit more breakage just because the roots are thicker &  really rooted in there.  If someone has this type of hair I would rec going in smaller sections in the areas prone to breakage (top/mound). Pulling the skin taught on application will help you to get a better coverage of the wax and pulling taught upon removal will help lessen breakage.  Of course ALWAYS keep your hand parallel to the skin on removal.

Hope this is helpful

Thank you for your feedback on this. Yes these clients are long time shavers. It's so true that the top/mound tends to be the area with the breakage. Currently I've been using Berodin hard wax and GiGi All Purpose honee wax. I use both for Braxilian waxing. I use the soft wax in the upper bikini area and the hard wax on the labia and around the anus. I'm definitely going to try the smaller strips on the upper region. Thanks for the help :)
