I have been Brazilian waxing for three years and usually do it with strip wax.  Now, I've finally found a wonderful hard wax but my problem is when I use it on the labial folds, It seems to take forever to get the wax to set up once placed on the skin. I've tried to turn the wax down but if I turn it down any farther it won't spread.  Any ideas?

its usually because of the warmth and extra moisture in the area....A trick i have found helps (i use cerepil hard wax)  is to dab a little hand sanitizer on the wax if its taking to long to set...just a dab...its pretty much instant  :)

Wow that's great! Does it work with all hard waxes, do you know? (And you'd want to be careful not to get it on the SKIN in that area, right?)(Ouch!)

I have tried that on several hard waxes...works like a charm every time....it has gotten on the skin a little here and there and no issues...just dont glob it on, you don't want it dripping onto the freshly waxed area , plus it makes for slippery gloves and a not so good grip when you're ready to rip !  literally LESS than the size of an eraser tip is ALL you will need.

Wonderful advice. Thanks for sharing
