What is your favorite scrub and why?
I am personally looking to add a new scrub to my skin care routine. I love the feeling of the soft smooth skin and the way makeup glides right on. I have combo-dry skin. I have used Epicuren's microdermabrasion scrub and am out of it. Looking for suggestions.

I am not a fan of most scrubs for my mature skin and for most of my clients.
Too many clients use the wrong scrub...or shouldn't be using a scrub at all.
That said - I do on occasion use the Skin Script Rx Retinol Scrub.
Enzyme treatments give soft smooth skin too! Without the use of harsh abrasives, and to my mind give a much uniform exfoliation with no potential for damage to the skin.
Some cleansers are great all by themselves...I am thinking of two that I have tried with lactic acid that are great, and for some people a glycolic cleanser (if used appropriately).
And then of course is the ultrasonic skin spatula - easy safe gentle exfoliation.
(Sigh) But I DO know a LOT of people love scrubs - especially the microdermabrasion scrubs. I guess it depends on your clientele what you find most appropriate and effective.

I appreciate your feedback. I have a love for enzymes too, gentle yet effective. But I do love an occasional scrub too. The instant gratification makes me like them for my skin.

Circadia has a good scrub, a micro-exfolianting honey scrub with natural beads that works great and feels great. I also like Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, it's a tad gritty but can be made smoother with more water and has brightening properties. Dermalogica Skin Resurfacing cleanser is great too, not a scrub, but with 5% lactic acid, provides a nice surface.

Thanks for the suggestions! I have tried Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, I feel like it dissolves too quickly, have you ever had that experience? I will look for the Circadia one at my next tradeshow! Thank you Jodi!

Jan Marini products are my fave! I love their skinzyme mask (exfoliant). When this product has been applied and left on the skin for a while it really exfoliates and makes the extractions so easy! I love this product...i should be in sales for them because i shout from the rooftops about how great i think it is!! :) Just my 2 cents worth....now i will jump off my soap box and leave y'all to it!
