I am in love with skin, the art of waxing and sugaring! I really want to work and be able to take care of my family. How can I make this work and still be able to contribute to a mortgage, bills etc? Do I have to go out and get a part time job in order to make it work?

Please help... I'm eager but feel discouraged by the unknown....

Hi Tiffany, yes it is very competitive out there and it takes a bit of work to be established as a esty. Don't be discouraged it just takes time. Definitely you want another part time job. This is something that would have been helpful for me to hear when I got licensed.I learned the hard way that you very often don't start off having a lot of clients or making much money. I hope this was helpful and yes I love being an esty and for me it has been worth it. The exception to what i have just said is if you get a job at a busy place that pays hourly and commision.

Thanks for the reply! I am going to work hard and make it happen. Maybe doing something completely different? I am just trying to build so that I don't have to do something else. I hope that sooner than later I am ALWAYS booked!
