Yipes! just had a scary scenario! A new client used my online booking site- StyleSeat- and thought she had successfully booked a facial, that she was very much looking forward to- only it didn't process all the way through for whatever reason, and I was unaware of the appointment!!

THANKFULLY- as only fate would have it- she called me ON HER WAY to let me know that she had to cancel last minute because the school just called and she had to get her child who was sick. and I had NO idea she was even scheduled- b/c technically she was NOT!!

If she didn't have that situation come up, she would have arrived at my office, I would not have been there expecting her- and it would have been a DISASTER!!!!!!

Now I am really scared!!

Has anyone else ever had this happen?!?!

Wow - that is bad news!

So what does StyleSeat say about this?

We use schedulicity too.

Hi Gina, I havent had this happen to me. I do use Schedulicity which is the one I've been using for about a year and a half and no problems yet! I'm really happy with Schedulicity as it gives reminders to my new and established clients on their upcoming appts. I also get notification on my phone of any appts made by my clients. I do make it a habit to call my new clients to verify their appt and also send all of my clients courtesy reminder texts the day before the appt. This helps ALOT!

I think what you can do to prevent  unprocessed appts...You can let your potential clients know that if its their first time to see you...that they need to call you to make their appts instead of booking online.  Hope this info helps sweetie!

O wow! Sorry that happened. I use Genbook personally but I hear schedulicity is good too! I was going to use style seat but I didn't like the way they did their booking. I know that with being an ASCP member you can use genbook for only 16 a month
