treating inflamed lesions with high frequency

What is the opinion of you experts about treating various inflamed acne lesions with high frequency; specifically those devices with the little glass tubes filled with neon - or is it argon - gas?  

Have you had success?  What techniques have you developed?  Can these devices speed healing and therefore lesson the risks of scarring or PIH?

Hi Mary Lou,

I have had really good luck with them. They definitely speed healing but I mainly use them after extractions to stop the spread of bacteria and to coagulate blood. I'm not sure if you can use them on the body though.
