I have my monthly brazilian clients that currently use no numbing cream and they are just fine. However I think I would like to bring in a cream for them to purchase and use themselves 45min before they come to see me each time to make their experience w me even better. Does anyone have one that they think is great and/or are they truly safe for that area down there?

Personally I don't even know if numbing creams work and it's very difficult for client's to remember to use them 30-45 mins prior to their appt.  I have several client's that try to take advil or the like prior to their appt to try to lessen the pain, but they usually don't end up doing it due to their busy schedules, then by the time they get to their appt and realize that they have forgotten to do it, it's too late and won't kick in, in time.  Sometimes even if they do take it, it doesn't help.  However, if you think you have a market to sell more retail to, go for it!

I had a client who had came in that used Scream Cream and she said she liked it. She also said she read online that if you cough as the strip is being pulled it does not hurt as much. I'm thinking maybe because they are concentrating on coughing rather than thinking about the pain...?

LOL!  that's very funny.  Can you imagine asking your client to cough every time you removed a strip of wax! That's classic.

I agree, I sell no scream cream but honestly, have them breath in before you pull and out while you pull (around the sensitive area) and they'll be fine :)

I got some cream free with wax however, it was expired when I looked a long time after the fact-I gave it to a client, rather than sell it to her, and today she was in for her monthly appt. and said it seemed to hurt less. It was the Satin Smooth brand. Except for her-I've not had anyone ask for it. Maybe it's more a mental thing, like a placebo?
