I need advise about the Nufree Finipil hair removal system.

I have been an esthetician for eight years. I had used Satin Smooth's zinc oxide wax for full body waxing. I do use Cirepil's blue wax for brazilians. I love both types of wax. And to my knowledge I have not had a client complain about reactions of any kind. I recently started using Nufree in place of the Satin Smooth wax. So far I'm not too impressed. I have had a few clients claim that the had some sort of reaction. Absolutely no skin had been taken off. And clients complain about being sticky even after I have used oil to remove it. I'm confused and not know what or if I'm doing something wrong. Any advise or opinions?

I have used this product several years ago. I found it to be very good. It's a very low temp soy based wax. Are u using it in the pots that the wax came in? Are you using all the products that come with the kit? Make sure you stir the wax deep down in the pot. I'm surprised your clients are getting a reaction. What kind of reaction are they getting.

I am using the pot it came with. Yes I'm stirring it very good. And I'm using the oil after as well. But for some reason I'm hesitant to use the Finipil. I use witch hazel. I used to cleanse with witch hazel, apply baby powder then the zinc wax. Clean wax residue with oil then follow with witch hazel. Never had an issue. Now with the Nufree one client said she had a slight rash under one brow for a couple of days. One client said she had little bumps. She had not had a brow wax for years. Then one brazilian client felt a bit more tender but liked the result. And I have had quite a few comments about how sticky it is. I want to like Nufree. And having wax issues is new to me.

Never use powder with nufree. You don't have to use the finipil but it is an excellent product. Especially for retail. Great for ingrown hair prevention. Little bumps is her reaction to the waxing process and would have happened to anyone with any wax. Don't blame the product. I don't remember if the finipil is mentholated, maybe I wouldn't use it on the face. Maybe not using powder will help with the stickiness

Oh I don't use powder with the Nufree. I used it before with the other wax. What is your protocol with Nufree? And thanks.

It was a long time ago so I don't remember the exact products we used to clean the skin before, and sooth the skin after. It was an Aveda Salon so I'm sure it was something by Aveda. Nufree is sticky and sometimes stringy but the more u work with it the better you'll get. Try to get it on as thin as possible. Our clients would come to our salon because they loved our wax. I wasn't a big fan of Nufree either, though I learned to work with it. We used dermalogica at that salon so I would clean with the post extraction solution prior to waxing and remove the wax with the precleanse. I had one client have a bad reaction: she had a darker skin color and got some hyperpigmentation on her lip she must have used something and not told me because that was the only reaction a client of mine got.
