Which is better for the Brazilian Hard or Soft Wax?

I prefer Hard wax. It's more gentle on the skin and though there are always issues with any wax, tends to be less problematic as far as being goopy and sticky. And contrary to popular belief ,you can do a hard wax in 15 minutes. So the, "it takes too long" excuse is totally void.

Ive done Extreme bikini with hard and soft but never brazilian so I cant really say but...I just pre-ordered Your New Brazilian dvd so I am sure I am going to find out now!

:) Yes you will :) I suppose a better thing to say, is "which do you prefer". It really does come down to preference in the end. Once you have perfected your technique that is. The thing with hard wax is that a lot of people don't know how to use is correctly and therefore don't have good experiences with it, leading them to be frustrated and dislike it. It does require a bit more practice than soft wax, making the learning curve a little steeper, but, I still love it the best.

I have been an esthetician for past 5 years and really hated the though of brazilian because of the sanitary component but also because of the discomfort I'd cause to the client. Truthfully I never got trained in it either. I had it done and it was an awful experience, so there-

Sorry to hear that your experience getting a Brazilian wax was so horrible. Just be patient with yourself. Be "ok" with not being perfect right away. I try to be very specific with the instructions on the dvd and there tons of tips to using hard wax. The great thing about a dvd is that you can go back and watch it over and over. I just started using the hard was again about 6/8 mos ago. You are right is does take a different mindset and some practice but I love the fact that it doesnt stick to the skin like soft wax. I took your webinar a while back too. It was quite informative so I am sure I will appreciate the info. in your dvd as well!
