Available positions/openings for estheticians in Denver and surrounding areas

Hello everyone.  I don't know if any of you feel the same way I do about looking for a position online, but It I think it is exasperating.  If any of you have any leads for openings in a professional spa environment, or Dr's office, that values estheticians and uses products that aren't laden with chemicals, I would greatly appreciate the information.  I've been in the industry for over 12 years and find myself back in a position looking for a "job" in the right setting.  I'm also open to suggestions on the best way to approach my job search.

My email address is sage2349@aol.com and phone # is 303-973-2338.  If you email me please reference ASCP so I don't delete your email.

Thanks for any help.

Dear Geri,

I feel your frustration; I know it can be an emotional roller-coaster when you're seeking the right fit with employment in this field! It sounds like you have plenty of experience, and it's just a matter of finding the right 'situation' as you say, although, easier said then done, I know.

If you are a member of ASCP, and you are not currently using your website (a free benefit) to promote your business, I would suggest that you create a digital version of your resume/bio/cover letter in that format. You can also create professional calling cards with your information and URL link, which will take prospective employers to your beautiful, professional site. You can create as many pages as you want of course, and it comes with a professional e-mail address... so you can keep your own personal email private as well.

As a former employer, I know an outstanding resume and presentation does a lot to encourage the hiring process, which at least will get you that much closer to interviewing in a potential position that would bring you happiness and success.

All the best to you and please let us know how things progress!

Dear Kirsten,

Thank you for your prompt reply. I will be working on all the above suggestions this week.  We'll see what it nets.  I know it is a process and lots of time commitment to finding the right position.  If you think of any other helpful suggestions or leads in the near future, please feel free to pass them on.  Again, thank you.

Geri

Of course! Are you looking for a rental situation at all or employee position? I'll put my feelers out!
