I have been getting a lot of calls on issue of scope of practice for estheticians, Thank you!! it is great to see such a response. A couple of things that you need to know;

1. This is about clarifying existing Rules, not creating new ones. There are 2 parts to this-Colorado statute which is implemented by the legislature and administrative rule which defines how the statute will be in interpreted. Rules define our scope of practice in detail.

2. When deregulation is mentioned, that specifically is talking about removing statute which will be done by elected officials.
