Expert Certification at IDI

Hi! Is anyone else working towards getting their Specialist and Expert certification at IDI in Dermalogica? I just started this, and I love the classes so far! I was already certified in the products, but am now taking the specialized lines courses, along with touch therapies and they are great! I'm also signed up for the exfoliation workshop, which I can't wait for. I was just wondering if anyone else is taking these classes for these certifications.

Hi Jodi I just started job that is using the dermalogica and also another line Clarity Rx. I need to do my derma live online and then I would love to go to the derm instit. in chicago and do some classes let me know how it all goes. Have you used any other lines and how do you feel they compare? Keep me posted thanks and good luck.

I've been using Dermalogica for a year and I like the results and training. I've taken 10 or 11 classes at IDI in Philadelphia so far and I love them! I want to take Derm Online as a refresher, but nothing can compare to the product knowledge classes in person, as you get to feel and test the products. The classes also have hands on training which is great! I love the new scalp massage I just learned and am looking forward to the rest of my classes.

I have also used Circadia and that is a great line as well, but I feel Dermalogica offers more active masks. The protocols are great and I feel I get results. I only used Circadia for a few months and was on my own with only minimal training, so I feel much more confident after all my IDI classes. We also use CosMedix for peels and I love them.

Im using Dermalogica and I am also attending both Dermalogica classes & the IDI classes in Carson, California.

Hi Jodi

I just got certified in December 2012 and February 2013, and so far I´ve only had one Specialist course, which was the Dermalogica Facial Treatment.

I want to do the Exfoliation Workshop as soon as possible, have you already done that? (since your post is from April last year). I would love to know how that one went for you and how your experience has been so far working with Dermalogica.

Hi! Sorry, I just saw this. I completed all the classes in the Expert certification and I loved the Exfoliation workshop! I am currently a Specialist, as I have yet to find a time when I can take the practical test for Expert. Once I take that, I will have my Expert certication as well. I'm still using Dermalogica and love the line. I love how it's customizable.

I just finished Specialist last week and will complete my Expert level on 11/7.

Hi Jodi, I am a certified Dermalogica Expert for about 2 years now, I have taken every Dermalogica class that IDI offers. what questions do you have about these classes? I am happy to answer any for you!
