I'm still in school, but have been using my daughter who is 20 as my project with the Medibac Treatment. We backed off using the Medibac line for home-care as it was aggravating her skin. We now do treatments every 2/3 weeks in the clinic using Medibac with high frequency & then for home care she is using the Clean Start line with results. She is also using the clearing mattifier and spot treatment...
Remember that media-bac is recommended for true acne- which is a chronic disease of the skin. People can suffer from severe breakouts and skin congestion and still not fall into this category that being said some media-bac products can be used in combination with other products from the grey line which will bring down the intensity of the media-bac so you can treat the issues without aggravating the skin.
First off she has to be more consistent about her home care- if she doesn't stay on top of it you will both just remain on the hamster wheel you are currently caught on. She should be cleansing every day 2x daily. If clearing skin wash causes any consistent discomfort on her skin( tight, dry, flaky- she can use special cleansing gel for her AM cleanse and clearing skin wash for her PM cleanse) 2nd she should use overnight clearing gel AND oil control lotion at night. They are separate products with their own purpose for treatment. Special clearing booster should only be used to spot treat pustules she can area treat with overnight clearing gel. Also you should recc. That she change her pillow case VERY frequently every day if necessary to help control the bacteria presence from transferring from her skin to her pillowcase and back to her skin each night. There are other things you can do to progress your treatments for her but with out her following a proper home care regimen she will never achieve clear skin.
