They even have it on the web at Sears,  WHAT IS GOING ON?   No longer professional only.
Well I also found it at J.C. penny and they no longer have beauty counters at all.  I was trained in Dermalogica and I do understand why it's at Sears J.C. Penny, Walmart.  You could never hurt anyone with Dermalogica - but then again it doesn't do a thing unless the client has been using bar soap.  As an Esthetician I would never use dermalogica it's like using Oil of Olay.
Because when I trained in Dermalogica  (schools are dropping it like a hot rock now) it was for Estheticians ONLY - not sold to the general public.  Even now they are still requiring a $6,000 lay out start up.  Some of my fellow Estheticians trusted Dermalogica when they said it would not be sold to the general public in chain stores.  Have you been on the European Esthetician board?   They are crushed.  So that is why I CARE.
I am also not thrilled about these developements.   I really like the line too, but do not feel so comfortable recommending it anymore because the reputation as a professional line is falling so fast.  Just today, this happened and other esties asked why use something that is so plain and non exclusive?  that it was not pampering enough and sold at sephora.  Why waste the space and carry it them self?  and that no one uses it anymore, the reputation is falling fast.  i am disappointed with IDI and Dermalogica as I've spent good time and money at their post grad classes.  The instructors and all take so much pride in themselves, I would like to see it justified.

I am so disappointed to know this is at sears and jc pennys , gosh I probly will keep a few things I really like and move on to a more medical line or at least they don't sell every where .

As of today 8/3/2014 none of these retailers carry Dermalogica. I am a certified Dermalogica expert and it is a great skin care line both for professional use and personal use. Many things have changed with this line since 2011 when these posts were created. I have personally been using since 2011 and my skin has never looked better and I have many loyal clients who couldn't be happier with the results I have given them as well.
