I love hearing about new organic products or a recipe that you like using on your clients. I'm currently using livia skin care products.

I use Renaud Naturals for facials and Circadia for treatments (enzymes, peels, etc). As far as waxing goes, I use Nufree and love it.
Can you tell me why you like those products and what are you favorites and how can I order if I want to try something.

I prefer Renaud because a) made in small batches, b) small business, c) no mystery ingredients on the labels, d) very sensory (texture, colors, scents) and e) effectiveness. All of my clients enjoy their facials when I use them and usually buy retail. The website is: www.renaudnatuals.com I also use their hypo-allergenic unscented massage lotion.

Circadia I use for specific treatments, primarily anti-aging. They have a few enzymes for different skin concerns and I find them to be very effective. Likewise with the glycolic and salicylic acids. I used this line when I was in school for advanced aesthetics so i may be a bit partial. www.circadia.com is their site.

If you contact both of these companies and tell them you are an aesthetician interested in using their products they should give you some samples. Lately Renaud have been changing their labeling and website around frequently, and has increased their prices on some products so it is a bit different from when I placed my last order.

Nufree is a soya based hair removal system. Overall I have found it to be cleaner and less painful that normal waxes. More info here: http://www.nufree.com/what_is_nufree.php I was introduced to it by a friend who owns a salon.

Hi Alisa, this is organic products?

Thanks so much for the in-depth reply. that really helps! Do you use the massage lotion just for massages or do you also use with pedicures? I'm using grapeseed oil for massages and add an essential oil while doing the massage. Do you prefer the lotion? Alisa
The lotion would work for pedicures I'd imagine (I don't do them). Generally I give the client their choice of lotion or oil and they usually choose the unscented lotion. For oils I use apricot kernel, jojoba, and coconut.  They are all fine, but I do prefer the lotion for workability.
Scratch Renaud.  Apparently with all of their changes they have stopped providing professional back bar products. I e-mailed a couple of times asking why the professional log-in doesn't appear on the site anymore and haven't received any reply. The jest of the site seems like they are promoting retail.  So I am now looking for a new organic line.

Dual here! I use Skin Script. I love it and so do my clients. It sells itself.
