Canidates for Chemical Peels
I'm a new Esti and I have a client who takes blood thinners but is interested in getting a eries of chemical peels. I'm not sure if she is a good canidate to recieve that type of treatment. Can anyone advise me? Any information is useful!

one concern wit Patients taking blood thinners, such as warfarin, should avoid deep peels because of the possibility of blood oozing from the peel site.Hope this helps

as an esthetician you are not going to be doing a very deep peel, so because of that I think it is okay to do peels on someone on blood thinners- make sure you are doing a great consultation with them. if you are concerned do a test patch on them. I would not bring them to a frost the first time to see how they react to the peel.
