Healing or Hyperpigmenation after Jessner's?

Have a client who is a week out from what has acted ike a successful peel. Today she said this morning there are brownish spots around her mouth and nose. The pic she sent does show some brown, but there is also pink in other places. I think she isn't finished healing yet. Any thoughts. I have been doing Jessner's for a while, and although the literature mentions pink and brown during healing, I have ony seen pink! Thanks for your thoughts.

.... just a few thoughts come to mind

Is she keeping the area well hydrated ?

Is she a picker ?

Avoiding sun exposure as well as a post peel sunscreen being used ?

After care is just as important as the peel itself for desirable results - good luck !

I send this- I have had brown after a couple of days- but not that far after- I would really find out if she is picking- if she got her skin too hot after the peel- ot to see if she has been wearing sunscreen at ALL TIMES.
