If all works out, I hope to relocate my business to a home-based business, but I am concerned with safety a bit. How is safety handled in your home businesses? Thanks

Check with your state about the requirements of a home spa.

You'll probably find that what they require of you will cover safety and inform you about the necessary set up.

The fact that you are an ASCP member means you have liability and a support system which is great!

You can design a website through ASCP - I am currently working on that :)

The Milady Textbook also has chapters that could be very helpful to what you need in a treatment room for services, sanitation, etc.

Good luck!

Thanks Sally, I will take your advice. I've attempted to pull information from the web, so I will call and hope to receive promising information this month. Thanks again!

I have a state inspector that stops by every year to inspect my business even tho it is in my home here in Washington State.  I have followed all regulations and safety requirements for my state.  I always pass with an "A" and have the information posted, as required by law.
