SPF 30

Is anyone having a problem with ethnic skin using Image SPF30? I find that it leaves a ashy tone on ethnic skin. I tried using the one with the tint in it but still leave some clients and myself with a ashy purpleish tone...Does anyone have any advise for me?

It was recommended to me to warm the product in your hands and then pat into the skin until absorbed. It's the zinc leaving the whitish residue. The other option is the Universal for darker skin tones- it does not contain zinc.
