Hello!
I am in the process of setting up a business in the home, my goal is to be as green with everything as possible. And of course one big portion of that is the quats/disinfectant I will be using daily and the idea of pouring those chemicals down the drain.

What are good products to use?

I have been on the hunt now for a while and there is such a variety out there! Everything I've been taught and told says it needs to be hospital grade, epa registered, etc. But that only covers the requirements for proper sanitation, not the environmental impacts.

Any suggestions would be fantastic!

Thank you so much!

Allyne,

I have not found a satisfactory answer to this question yet. I use a combination of Barbicide for soaking implements, Citrus II for wiping down certain surfaces, and grain alcohol for wiping off bottles and other th

ings that come into frequent contact with my skin. I would like to use one of the new hydrogen peroxide based disinfectants, but don't know who is selling those in the US and if they are very $$$$. There is also a product that is based on thyme essential oil, I think --- Benefect? Please let us know if you find something good!
