I would love to incorporate a microderm treatment into my practice but need to keep the cost of a machine low.  I want something that will give good results. Any thoughts?

To keep the costs down you might want to choose diamond tip over crystal, although many experienced esthys prefer using crystal units.  I purchased my unit at a trade show for a good price, but I know a lot of people are purchasing units from china thru ebay.

I have seen and sampled a couple of them - all that I have seen so far are low powered and sub-par diamond tips (the real cheap ones in the $200-$600 range are probably best avoided entirely). But even with that I have seen people get good results  - it's probably more to do with their talent at using the unit than the unit itself.

If you have the money try to buy from a US seller...here is one that I was looking at for about $2K(price varies from $2k-3k depending on seller)

Advance Rejuvenating Concepts sells it also.

Skin for Life is another good supplier. They have a Crystal microderm/led unit for well under $3k.  They used to have a diamond tip unit for even less but I don't know if they still carry that.

Thank you Cindy!
