Let a dermatologis handle it. Keep yourself away from possible lawsuits! This is not an area you really want to get into. Please note your Insurance does not cover you for this!!!
I was told by Stephanie of RN Faces just last week that she works closely with ASCP & that if you get trained & certified through RN Faces on the Skin Classic you are covered under the ASCP's Insurance Policy for these types of services.
Can someone from ASCP please verify this information for me. I am located in California and she assured me that this is a legal service to provide as an esthetician in California.
It is covered by ASCP in California where I am located as long as you've been certified. I have a letter from ASCP stating this given to me by Maddie Conklin who sells the Skin Resurfacer.
Good to know! Can someone that works within ASCP please verify this statement from Kaye? I am very interested in purchasing the Skin Classic to add to my list of treatment options & think that it would be a very good addition if it is legal and covered under ASCP's insurance policy... ")
Suggestion ladies. PLEASE, PLEASE Please contact ASCP yourselves before taking another person's word for it. Just a word to the wise. Also if you paid the $10.00 to receive a copy of the insurance contract you might want to read it.
I called ASCP yesterday to confirm these units are covered by insurance. They are. Anyone out there have any thoughts about which one is the best choice??
That's great news. Thanks for calling Kaye! I am also interested in which one would be the best choice. Any experienced users out there that can give any first hand experience or advice?
Actually it would be nice if they made a posting here and if not here on the ASCP site itself. I presume you are all able to access the ASCP site.
