I've heard it said that a light peel after an FSD treatment is amazing.  My question is if I were to do 1 or 2 layers of a PCA Sensi-peel (TCA good for all skin types especially sensitive) after an FSD treatment, how long do I wait to do another FSD treatment on that client.  Can I do one right away a couple days later, should I wait a week or so or is it specific to each client's response to the peel?

You could do one at the beginning of a series and then another peel on the last treatment of the series....make sense? I love doing layers of Skin Script TCA with the FSD....beautiful!! But that's after the series when they are just coming in once a month for maintenance.

Thanks Shelley. So if I do a light peel with the first FSD in the series, how long should I wait to do the second FSD treatment? I would use Skin Script (love their product) but I already have PCA peels so when they are gone, ill try SS.

Another question...is it better to dermafile after an enzyme say the Lemon Zest rather than before. Can you do it either way or no. I know some like to dermafile while enzyme is on. Should you never do an enzyme after dermafiling?

That's hard for me to answer because I am not familiar with that product line. I usually just wait two or three days before the next FSD treatment.

I actually prefer to Dermafile and then enzyme, but it's really okay either way. It has a lot to do with the skin condition and whether you want to soften that top layer first with an enzyme or exfoliate that top layer first with the Dermafile.

Using the Dermafile while an enzyme is on is okay as long as you are gentle. Some enzymes can be pretty powerful and using the Dermafile on top is like scrubbing in the enzyme....just be careful!
