Okay, you've probably all read my story on my website about how well we've done with the coupon clients. If not, please have a look:http://www.shelleyhancock.com/grouponexperience.html

Well, we just stepped it up a huge notch in the past couple of weeks and 95% of the clients have rebooked. Besides offering a discount on a series of treatments, we are now offering them their next treatment at the same discounted coupon price if they make the appointment right then. Just about every client has taken us up on it. Clients may have really liked their treatment but aren't quite ready yet to commit to a series, so by making this offer, we have a second chance to wine and dine them. And our books continue to stay full! And we get the full amount this time. Typically once you've gotten someone in for a couple of treatments...you've got em' hooked!

Hope to see some of you at the Face and Body Show this weekend. Drop by booth 533 to see me!

So, next week I am going to start calling each client that has come in from Groupon and Living Social. We started this back in January. I am going to thank them again for coming in and tell them about our new Power Peptide treatment, inviting them back to experience this new treatment. I have tried emails (I use constant contact) but most don't get opened up, so I'm going to try the good old fashioned telephone! I'll keep you updated on how it's working.
We just added on a fabulous incentive for these clients to purchase a series of treatments...they get a free teeth whitening when they purchase the series (valued at $129). It costs me literally just pennies to do a teeth whitening treatment with my Blue LED headset (see my website for details) and we do it during their facial while they have a mask on, so it's not even taking much extra time. I'll keep you posted, but I think that this is going to go over big.
Shelly, thanks for the info regarding Groupon.  There are plenty of dayspas, medspas, salons in our area participating in this and getting a pretty good response.  I agree 100% with you about doing what you have to do to get the customer in the door and then try to retain them as a client.  Since I rent my room in a large salon, just not sure how to go about doing something like that.
I need to take the time and start on Groupon my prices are very cheap as is, but I agree get the Volume in. Then get the clients trust.

We continue to wine and dine the groupon and living social clients that are coming in. It's at a trickle now because the campaigns were months ago but it's enough to keep the esty that works for me pretty busy. She's been sooooo good at getting the clients to reschedule. She gets each client to come back to try a different treatment so they have an idea of more things that we do.
