I purchased the coconut papaya enzymes for clients who have rosacea and sensitive skin. I trie d some out on myself last night and got extremely red on my cheeks and nose area. I'm a little nervous to put it on my clients now. Now I did use a generous amount on myself - I will try less next time, however I do chemical peels on my self time-to-time and never had a reaction like this. Any thoughts or comments?

I have the same issue, for some reason clients get very red...however, they never experience any tingle or anything. Maybe you could follow it up with the seaweed mask cooled.
This disappoints me:( As I was specifically getting it for people w/ sensitive skin and was told this was a good choice. Have you tried using a little less than usual and diluting it? I do have a good mask to follow up with - thank goodness. Thanks Sheila!
Thanks Lee!
Good to know thank you!
I also choose the Rasberry/Peach for my rosacea/sensitive clientele.
Some of them I can use the steam a little bit if it's further away.
The Coconut/Papaya I use as a non-acid enzyme for regular or nonsensitive types.
Thank you Cindy. This is my first time using this product line. The coconut/papaya did feel good on my skin despite the extreme redness, I'm sure it's a great product, just not what I would prefer on my sensitive clientele. Looking forward to trying the raspberry/peach!!
No I don't have any allergies.
I use this enzyme all the time, including on my most sensitive clients (a few with rosacea) with no issues. Some feel it, some don't. Some get red, some don't. The redness always subsides by the time they leave my treatment room. This also the only enzyme I can use on my ridiculously sensitive skin. Love this one!
