Do we mainly spot treat with this peel? I have a couple of young 20 yr olds coming in for a series of peels. They have a lot of congestion, a few breakouts, some scarring, a little hyper-pigmentation. I'm really working on getting the inflammation and tiny congested areas cleaned up. They have purchased some of the products and will be purchasing more.
It has been so much fun to see their reaction when they look in the mirror and can already see a difference
Hi Tracy! Dave here (Dir. of Education at Skin Script)...
Yes, you can spot treat with the Cranberry Turnover Peel. Keep in mind that it is 20% Salicylic so it will be warm! Let it process 7 - 10 minutes then remove. It will work wonders treating congested skin.
so if I apply it all over the chin area, nose that will be ok. yeah, those girls were like, this really stings but yet wanted to see the results so badly that it was worth a little bit of stinging:) I'm pretty pumped at the results
I have a client that comes every other week and uses the whole kit for moderate acne. I have done the series of Glycolic peels with some improvement (no too much peeling though). One time I followed the protocol for Alpha-Beta Peels and this is the only time where the client REALLY PEELED. She sent me a picture where I could see her skin was extremely thigh the 3rd - 5th days were the worst, but after that her skin looked refined and less congested. Just be careful and warn your clients that this peel is stronger, applied to the full face it feels like burning not only stinging. and is not only micropeeling.
Do you have your clients on the moderate acne kits discontinue use of the retinol/glycolic pads or anything else in their kit before a peel? I am just trying Skin Script out :)
