Lemon zest enzyme reactions
Hi to all ! It's been a while since I've been around here. I have a question / comment regarding the lemon zest enzyme. It seems like whenever I use it on my skin I always get a patch area or two of about 15 or so slightly inflamed and prickly bumps. Some appear to be coming to a white head. I've not boosted the enzyme, didn't do anything else aggressive. Any thoughts on why this could be happening? I'm thinking that maybe these are areas that already were a clogged under the skin hidden from me and the enzyme brought it up earlier and at once. I will try t upload a pic.

Sandra: I don't have a great answer for you. They look just like you described above - a whitehead. I would try the Pomegranate enzyme instead (salicylic). I realize this answer still doesn't help you understand why this is happening; it doesn't look like an allergic reaction.
I look forward to other's opinions as well.

Thanks Lisa , I will do another facial with pomegranate in a week. It's just so weird, it always happens with the lemon !

Yeah so I guess I will need to stop using the lemon zest. They say the definition of insanity is repeating something over and over , expecting different results ! Lol!

Are you properly mixing the lemon zest in the container before using any?

Yes, I do mix it first.
