Live, On-The-Road Training Requests

Hi Friends:

 

I'm working on my 2012 on-the-road trainings.  With the holidays approaching I won't hold many trainings in November and December, but want to get a great start in 2012.  I have mid-Florida and Raleigh, NC on my agenda for Jan/Feb 2012.  Where else do you want to see me?

 

While we are on the subject of trainings, do you have specific requests of what you would like to learn in trainings (besides how to use the products.)  Maybe we should invite Shelley Hancock along to demonstrate equipment used in conjunction with the products (e.g., oxygen machines, microcurrent, dermafiles, skin spatulas, etc.)

I would love to learn different marketing strategies and service menu suggestions. I would also like to see more marketing materials offered, such as posters.

We do have posters!!!  I will put them in the mail to you today.

 

As far as marketing strategies - I like "new, exciting ideas", e.g., using limited edition enzymes in your treatments - the current "limited edition" is our Harvest Fruit.  Market it as your "limited edition apple firming firming facial."  Or create your own idea.  Use e-mail marketing to get them back in the door.

 

In the treatment, I like to "mix it up" every second facial.  Example:  "I'm trying a new hand treatment, do you mind if I perform it on you?"  I don't charge extra because the entire point is to make them feel special so they continue to come every 4 weeks.  For the hand treatment I might put a thin layer of pumpkin enzyme on their hands, wrap it in saran wrap and cover it with a warm towel.  After 15-20 minutes I dermafile their hand, remove the enzyme with a warm wet towel, and then apply lotion and massage.  Next treatment I am going to buy some exfoliating gloves ($5) and do their feet in the same manner (instead of the hands).  I never want them to feel that they are getting the same old facial over and over so I try to mix it up and keep it new.

 

Other options is buying a dermafile ($59) or a skin spatula ($150ish??) so they feel that you are always working on new ideas.

 

Another idea:  a body treatment.  Buy a heated blanket and cover it in 3 sheets.  Exfoliate the body with sugar scrubs (or something similar) and remove with warm barber towels.  Wrap them like a mummy in the sheets/heated blanket (fold it over them).  Massage with lotion.  Yes, I would charge for extra for this treatment.  I received one last week and my skin feels amazing!!!!!

 

Bottom line:  if you're excited, they are excited!!!!

Wow!

Thanks for all the great ideas!  I recently purchased the sample packs and my daughter and I absolutely love them.  I am excited to start using the products.  After being out of the business for awhile, I am anxious to learn as much as I can.  I live in the Tampa FL area, so I am hoping that you will be in the area soon.

I'm glad to hear the products are working well for you!  Yes, I have Florida on the training list - I was thinking of Orlando - will that work for you?  I'm thinking early next year we'll be there.  During December I'll put together our road training schedule.  Thanks!

Hi Laura - did you get the message that we will be in Orlando on February 26 for a full training?  Are you interested in attending?  I realize it's 1-1/2 hrs away, but it's closer than Arizona.

Thanks for sending these! Do you also have electronic images that I could legally add to my website, brochures, etc. of your logo, product pictures, before & afters? These would be great marketing tools.

I would love to have you visit Seattle. I bet we could get a group together to make it worth your time. Demonstrating SS products, custom blending/layering, and Dermafile would all be appreciated.
