I just bought the combo to use for a VDay special. Anyone care to share any protocol or marketing tips? I'm thinking of adding a hand treatment to it instead of lowering my already low facial price.

I use the Gift Card Café and I love it, so I was going to write up a description of the Raspberry/Dark Chocolate facial on it's own page on my website with a link to purchase a gift card.

Most of my Facebook friends are females so I was going to provide the link so they can send it to their husbands to buy them a gift card for the facial.

Sounds like a great idea.  What is the Gift Card Cafe?

Gift card cafe is a way for your clients to buy instant gift cards online for your services. I started it in November and I sold a ton of gift certificates, its like getting advanced pay! The money goes straight into your PayPal account.

Sandra I am considering using the gift card cafe. I want to generate big sales for the raspberry chocolate facial combo as i did with the pumpkin enzyme facial back in October. However i used groupon then, but dont want to do it now. I'm liking the setup with gift card cafe, thanks for mentioning this resource. BTW, I am leaning towards offering the facial with the option of a  "chocolate Mousse" exfoliating back treatment or a chocolate mint invigorating lower leg and foot scrub, massage and chocolate mask.

For everyone that doesn't know about the VDay special, we will be officially launching it tomorrow morning (January 1); however, it is here and available.  It's already on the pro-login website at www.skinscriptrx.com

I have attached the protocols and technical sheets to this post, but I highly encourage you to modify this to suit your technique.

Happy New Year!!!

PS:  Below is some literature that will be coming tomorrow on this facial:

Indulge in the rich, decadent combination of Raspberry Peach and Chocolate Mint this Valentine's Day.  Our Chocolate Mint Mask is back for a limited time and pairs perfectly with our popular Raspberry Peach Enzyme for a hydrating, softening facial that is suitable for all skin types.  This facial combination is also ideal for these dry winter months!   The hydrating and softening effects of this pair is sure to leave your client's skin feeling refreshed, hydrated and supple.

Raspberry Peach Enzyme: With raspberry, peach and hibiscus flower.  Reduces redness and irritation, moisturizes and softens all skin types for a healthy, radiant glow.  This enzyme contains no acids.  Boost this enzyme with our glycolic or lactic acid for a customized facial.

Dark Chocolate Mint Mask: Cocoa, glycerin and squalene are excellent emollients, lubricants and humectants to draw moisture to dry, flaky skin. Vitamin E is an excellent anti-aging antioxidant.  Excellent for normal/combo and dry skin types.

Thank you Lisa!!

Sandra:  You sound like you have your marketing plan in motion.  We are having a marketing/retail webinar both Wednesday and Thursday (see www.skinscriptrx.com/training to register).  Sandra, it's ideas that you provide above that make us successful as estheticians; we always need to be thinking of ways to market ourselves to bring in business and recommend retail.  So often I hear estheticians say they can't make it in the business; however, I think we all have that creative, marketing aspect to each one of us that CAN make it happen.  We just have to work at it constantly, yet have fun while we do it.

I hope you have a VERY Happy New Year.  Lisa

I'll attend the webinar, sounds great!. You are so right about marketing. I'm a dual esty/lmt and a massage instructor, and marketing is the one things a lot of people don't get. I happen to get very excited about marketing and it's one of my favorite things about the job. I've been in business for myself for 9 months now and I can see how even someone like me who loves marketing, can get bogged down and lose creativity & motivation. The BEST places for estys to get marketing inspiration to be successful is from each other, and from our product line. The fact that you offered that image on Facebook with the raspberry chocolate dessert is priceless! I posted it on my FB for Karma Skin + Massage Studio, and I already have a ton of interest but haven't even started it yet!

Where do you "find" gift card cafe?

Angie I found it online after Sandra Mentioned it and signed up. It's www.thegiftcardcafe.com
