I really love massaging the face with the masks and am curious what you all use to massage the neck, shoulders, hands, arms, etc?  Have any lines you recommend for this that are a great fit with the Skin Script line?

I use either my Hylunia Healing and Restoring cream or Spa Blends Butter Cream - unscented or scented, whatever I feel like.

If I am doing a "themed" facial I try to match the scent to the theme.

I especially like these for hand and arm massage as both products leave the skin feeling very soft.

I use a few different things: either I blend my own mixture of grapeseed oil and rosehip or safflower oil with essential oils; recently I found Cuccio Milk & Honey massage cream...it smells great, gives good slip and absorbs well. Clients like it very much :)

I usually use grapeseed oil.  I was putting essential oil in with it, but noticed my sheets were being stained.  I did however just learn from a skin care convention , Dr Mark Lee's class, that grapeseed is slightly comedogenitic.  He said the best is JoJoba oil.

oh that is interesting Sheila, thank you!

No problem!  I use is all the time and when I saw that pop up on the screen, I kinda sunk down a little in my chair.  LOL.  He had a great educational class on Clogged pores and Acne.

Thank you all!  Great ideas.  And do you try not to mix any of these products with the mask?  I often blended my facial massage with the neck and shoulders in the past.  But now that I am using the mask as the massage medium I tend to keep them as separate as possible - not wanting to "pollute" the mask.  Yet I liked the blended massage in the past.

I will usually massage neck and decollete when I have an enzyme on, remove enzyme, extract or whatever, then massage face, then massage arms and hands when the penetrating mask is on.  If I am not doing an enzyme I would do them together, but after going to this conference and learning so many new techniques, I will probably always do the facial massage more towards the middle, or if you have some really nice serums that you are going to use after the 2nd mask you could massage with those.

Madeleine - I use something different for the facial massage if I am doing one.

Two products that I use are the Skin Script Seaweed Masque and the Hylunia Vitamin Masque.

I can put a serum under either and leave them on the skin and put the same or something else on top for the resting masque.

I know this is an old post, but I wanted to add that I like doing the facial massage with the seaweed mask. For my hand/arm/neck & shoulder portion I use pure coconut oil. I'm  dual Esty/LMT and I find that grapeseed oils although it's awesome on the body, stains my sheets permanently. The coconut oil is solid but melts in my hand in one second. I sometimes add essential oil to it, but with SS products there are already good smells in the room.
