Hi, I am new to Skin Script and will be taking the peel class on Feb 23. In the meantime, I am not familiar with the technique of neutralizing with baking soda. How exactly do I apply that? With sponges/gauze/esti wipes and just wipe off? Or apply with a fan brush and then remove?

Hi Liza - I look forward to seeing you at the Feb 23 class where we will practice this.  For neutralizing, I use 1 cup water and 1 tsp baking soda.  After the peel has been on the skin for 7 minutes (which I've applied with a fan brush), I then remove the peel with the baking/soda water solution using esti wipes.  Gauze or sponges could be too rough on the skin to remove the peel.

Thank you! I'm planning to do a test run on myself before I offer it to my clients.

Perfect!  Try it on a lot of friends and family too.
