I have a client with moderate acne all over her face, mostly papules, and also dry skin. I have been treating her lately back and forth with Cranberry Turnover and Glycolic peels.  I haven't seen a slight difference since she started and mentioned seeking medical help instead. She mentioned to me earlier that she will be on an antibiotic and a Retin A cream and plans to come back for peels once her skin gets adjusted. I learned to wait at least a few weeks to months (depending how long someone is on it) after any Retin-A treatment until the skin isn't so sensitive. Is this correct?

She is also thinking of purchasing a cleanser from SS, one that is not too harsh on her skin of course. Would the Green Tea cleanser be best for her while she is on a Retin-A?

Thanks!

If someone is on antibiotics and/or Retin-A, use only the Coconut or the Raspberry Peach enzyme.  The Retin A is doing all the exfoliation she needs.   Otherwise, if you were to proceed with chemical peels, then I would have her stop the antibiotics and Retin-A for at least 1 week.

Yes, the Green Tea Cleanser would be a good one for her.  I would also suggest the Ageless Hydrating Serum and the Ageless Skin Moisturizer.

Thanks!

Wonderful! Thanks Lisa!!
