I just recently purchased the Pumpkin Orange Enzyme to promote the pumkin cheesecake facial for the fall.  After applying the enzyme to myself, I realize it will not be appropriate for any client because of it's activity.  Just wondering if mixing it with the Goji berry mask will lessen it's activity, making it more suitable for a wider variety of clients??? I normally do the enzymes alone and follow up with a mask - but would like to offer the facial to more clients....IF I can "lessen" it's "activity"?? Any input would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thank you!

Hi Cindy:

The idea with the Pumpkin Cheesecake is to mix 1 part pumpkin enzyme and 1 part goji berry yogurt mask to cut, or dilute the effect of the pumpkin so that it is suitable for most skin types.  I have attached the protocol on step-by-step instructions on how to perform this facial.

Best wishes for a great holiday facial!

That's what I was thinking, but wanted some confirmation!! Thank you so much!!

Lisa, you are so awesome :)

:)  I think you are awesome!

Thanks for this thread!

I did the pumpkin facial on myself last night as another test from my samples and holy crap I really burnt my face. I started with pretty good even happy skin and all night it was burning slightly and this morning I look like I have hives or tiny bites all over my face. The only time I've had this reaction to anything was when a girl in school left glycolic on my face too long in our peel class because she was texting. I have had many peels and enzyme treatments since with barely any kind of reaction.

Good to know mixing it with the goji berry makes makes it lighter but I may steer clear of this one for a while.

This is a great example of "not all products are created equal."  I think people gravitate to the pumpkin as a mild enzyme.  It's our strongest enzyme.  Start with the coconut or the raspberry for a mild enzyme.

Just did this on a client yesterday...

She has a photo shoot Sunday and was a liitle concerned about her skin.  She had experienced a lot of breakouts (hormonal /stress mostly), she had some PIH on chin and still a few "blips" in different areas...nose, forehead, mouth

Didn't want to risk a peel so I tried the pumpkin enzyme mixed with the goji berry.

I did not do any extractions but finished with high frequency, Ageless serum, Light Aloe.

Even I was shocked at how great she looked! She was thrilled.

Hurray!!!!  I love the happy stories.
