What would be best to use for people with sun damage issues.  I have so many clients with dry skin that I would like to have a special facial just for them.

I love all the skin script products!!

Thanks

Hi Angela:

The Lemon Zest was made just for them!!!!  It has a beautiful lemon base which is already great for brightening the skin and lifting sun damage.  I also added arbutin and kojic (natural lighteners) to assist in the sun damage.  It also has 6% lactic and 3% glycolic for dry, mature skin.  Have you tried this one yet?

Love this one I have had it for a bit now Lisa and I heard this one has a shorter shelf life But can I still use it and add a shot of the lactic acid to it or is it just done with after the (what was it 2 months?) I hate to just throw it away. But it is definitely Great. Thanks P.S. Love the Lactic acid all on its own as well I have dry skin and it was gentle and Ammazing  smooth and Super plump and hydrated. :)

Home care needs to include the Ageless Hydrating and the Vit C serums PLUS sunscreen.

(Not so funny, but...

Whenever my most non-compliant client (my Mom!) complains about her skin, I ask..."Are you using your sunscreen?"  there is an awkward silence on the phone.)

The price point on both the Skin Script serums is so reasonable, there is no excuse for not using those, add the Cucumber Hydrating mist and dry skin looks and feels amazing immediately.

LOL!  I hear you loud and clear about the non-compliant clients.  I have a client who wants her sun damage gone, but she's not going to give up golf.  She receives only mild treatments from me.  She went to her dermatologist and he gave her tretinoin for her sun damage (knowing full well that she golfs 3 times a week).  After using it for 2 weeks, she realized how strong it was and that my advice might be accurate after she felt her skin burning.  She sticks to the classic Skin Script products now.

I agree, I can't live without my Cucumber toner, Vit C and Hydrating Serum!

Lisa I just had a client say that the vit. c serum made them break out . Can sensitive and fitz 1 skin typsbreakout from this serum or might it be a different reason?

Cheryl:  There are a few thoughts that come to mind.  Does this person receive regular facials and use exfoliating products at home?  If not, the l-ascorbic acid could be exfoliating the skin and allowing trapped oil to release.  Are the breakouts appearing as pustules or papules?  If it's papules, it tells me the 15% Vit C concentration is too strong for her and disrupting the acid mantle.

Hi Lisa No pustules or papules just some red bumps she has Beautiful skin on the dry side almost porcelain like very fair. She does not get regular facials and hate to say it but exfoliates with Yes the Apricot scrub. Maybe that has something to do with it But thanks for the thoughts and comments they always help :)

Cheryl....I have the same question about the LemonZest. I have started to use it on more clients and this time around only had a small amount that went past the 2 months shelf live.  I did add lactic and glycolic to it and it performed nicely.

I have a client who wants to come every two weeks for a facial with the lemon zest enzyme with lactic added as a boost. I just want to make sure that two week intervals are okay?

Hi Koren - I normally perform a facial every four weeks for maintenance.  When I'm working on clinical, corrective changes in the skin, I see my clients every week.  You're right in the middle at 2 weeks and I think that's fine.  After a while (maybe 2-3 months), I would either use something lighter (such as Coconut enzyme) or space the treatment to 4 weeks to avoid over-exfoliation.
