tca peel

HI,

I just did a 2 layer tca peel. I've been following the protocol for the series. This one is stinging at about a 5 or 6 in certain spots on my face. Is that ok?

I thought this would be good for pores and my skin texture.

Yes! Everyone responds differently to this peel. Some people feel a sensation of a 2. Some areas (such as chin, nose wings) can experience more sensation - anywhere from a 5-10. When I apply the second layer, I don't re-apply over the hot areas.

Can a person apply the ageless serum and cucumber toner for the redness and skin feeling tight

You could do that if its uncomfortable. However, with peels you want the skin to get tight so it will crack and flake off. It's up to you, the aesthetician, how you want your client to peel, so you decide whether you want to use serums and moisturizers to slow the peel process.
