Hi Cynthia: We look forward to meeting you in Long Beach! You will learn about each product, touch/feel them, and see demonstrations at the training. If you are VERY sensitive then I would start with the Coconut Enzyme and move into the Blueberry Enzyme. The Coconut is our mildest. Our Blueberry has 1% glycolic/1% salicylic (yet is still tingly) and very effective on mild acne. For homecare I would suggest Green Tea Cleanser, Retinol Scrub used gently 3 times per week, Cucumber Toner, Light Aloe Moisturizer.
hello, I am new to the line have done a few webinars and will be attending the Long Beach class in November. I would like to try some products on myself fisrt to get a fell of them. Which products /enzymes would you perfer to start with ? My skn is oily/acne prone slighy senstive, especially acne or drying products
Hi Angela:
How old is the client? With the dry skin, it could either be mature skin, or just over-dried skin. If she's 20+ yrs old, I would lean towards Pomegranate Creamy Cleanser, Glycolic Cleanser and Retinol Scrub used 3 times a week, Cucumber Toner, Ageless Hydrating Serum, Blemish Spot Treatment, Ageless Moisturizer and SPF. If she is under 20 yrs old, I would use the Blemish Cleanser with the Cucumber Toner, Blemish Spot Treatment on the active breakouts and moisturizer/spf.
I would treat the overall skin gently with Coconut Enzyme and then spot treat the jaw line with Cranberry Turnover 20% salicylic. I would see her every 10 days to keep on top of it.
Thoughts?
Hi Lisa:
I have a client who has very bad hormonal acne. They do not come to a head (most anyways) she is mostly broke out along the jawline but her overall skin is very red blotchy uneven etc. She is going to do some peels but would like to get on a good homecare program(Yea). Can I provide her samples or what would your recomend. I feel like her skin is very dry she has been using a glycolic/saly cleanser daily so I think she needs to alternate that out also possibly some hydrating serum?
Thanks for any suggestions!
Thanks Lisa!
Hi Cheryl: I think it depends on how much TCA you apply. If you apply 3-4 layers, then yes, I would have them discontinue any exfoliants. You might call them 3-4 days after the treatment to see how their skin is responding and adjust the glycolic/retinol pads based on their response. I want to keep the lighteners on the skin without causing too much irritation.
Hi Lisa now if I were to spot treat HP with TCA in treatment room would My client start spot treating that HP right away at home or wait a few days Thanks I know when we do the whole face they stop using all exfolaiting products at home for 4-5 days
Hi Willie - yes, I spot treat all the time with the TCA. However, the Glycolic/Retinol pads should be used twice a day on that spot at home. Dip a q-tip into the pads and apply twice a day. I think that will lift it.
Can you spot treat pigmentation with SS TCA? I personally have a stubborn pih that won't go away. I've done one tca peel all over but still dark.
