Hi Lizabeth~ I am Director of Education for Skin Script and wanted to comment on your post. My thoughts are that what your client is experiencing is a post-waxing healing response. The Pomegranate Cleanser, Cucumber Hyrdating Toner and Ageless Hyrdating Serum should do the trick. Keep it gentle and light. Also, you might want to delve into the baby wash as sometime those types of products can be drying to the skin!

I had a client purchase the Pomegranate Cleanser and the Hydrating Moisturizer after her first time face wax with me. She wash/applied that night and when she awoke she felt her face warm but in a morning coma reapplied products. During the day she noticed she had broken out in hives. She has since discontinued use until her face recovers. She has no known allergies and I was wondering what your thoughts were that may have caused the reaction? My client and I both think it was the waxing, I believe it was her first time for full face is what caused the reaction and maybe the new products further irritated her skin? She was using baby wash soap to wash her face previously.

Lee: Thank you for your kind comments and advice below! As far as steamers/mag lamps, I'm not sure I'm the best person to ask. One mag lamp I did love was Equipro - it never moved once I positioned it; however, it was $500. A little pricey.
Lizabeth: For desincrustration I use the retinol scrub under steam to soften blackhead/sebum for easier extractions. No plans for a new serum right now.

Performed a similar treatment as Shelley's re 4/27 on long time client today, but with sonic scrubber ( no Led) recently purchased from Shelley...skin was beautifully radiant!!! But can't wait to treat with additional Celluma Led when my order arrives!

I have used and played with all of SS's enzymes. The milder coconut and raspberry are comparable in strength...great for your a first client, but if you add SS's retinol scrub/mask or a micro-Derm scrub with steam and follow with a sonic spatula, microdermabrasion, dermafille, dermaplaning, low grade peels or a combo of these modalities you will get great advanced results! You can never go wrong with these milder enzymes for a starter treatment, as a stand-alone. And once you understand your client's profile and skin...you have so many options to get creative.
