Heavy Water bonds with the skin and other connective tissues more strongly than regular H20, and is more viscous, providing higher levels of hydration than simple water, because of its higher resistance to evaporation.  It reduces cellular stress and assists to protect against bacteria, viruses and radiation.  The higher viscosity of heavy water allows it to have a higher plumping factor, especially when used in conjunction with other moisture-attracting ingredients.  Because its heavier nuclear mass makes it "wetter," D2O can provide additional hydration to the skin and is especially helpful for post-laser hydration.

I had a client ask what the heavy water was exactly in the cucumber toner. Im not really sure how to answer that so i told her I waould find out I did explaine the hyaluronic acid and its benefits as well as the fatty acids . But heavy water? Thanks all

Hi Koren:Great question!  Since the client's main concern is most likely pigmentation (hence the IPL treatments), I would lean toward the Lemon Zest to brighten the skin.  Actually, that was one of the main reasons I created the Lemon Zest was for clients between IPL treatments.

I have a question about the passion fruit enzyme...my client had ipl today and is coming for a facial in one week.  Would the passion fruit enzyme be the best to use to help stimulate collagen/cells, or should I use the lemon zest or even the coconut for a more milder effect?

Thanks for the info Lisa and I will definitely keep you posted!  When she came in for her first treatment I did the pom enzyme and finished the treatment with some High Frequency and when I saw her yesterday, I noticed most blemishes went down, but she could still feel them under the skin.  I didn't do any extractions because there was the combo of the rash like bumps and then cystic where nothing to extract...she was surprised I didn't start digging away.  I may order her the agless serum for some added hydration and I did tell her I would check in about a week.  Thanks for the info as always!  I appreciate your quick response!!

Shelley - we had a fabulous time in Foster City today!  Great questions.  I am impressed with the skill set of these estheticians.  I had a great time talking skin care; thanks for hosting!  Thanks for jumping in with the equipment as well - as you know I love enzymes, in addition to your modalities.

Sheila:  This moderate acne kit is something I created years ago and I'm not sure it's for everyone because it is so aggressive.  Please check in with your client at least once a week to ensure we aren't over drying the skin.  Regarding the protocol on how often to use the glycolic cleanser and retinol scrub, this is your discretion as the esthetician.  I, ideally, start a client on these product everyday for up to 10 days, then I back down to 2-3 times per week.  It's hard to prescribe a professional treatment without seeing her.  I could either go with glycolic peels, coconut enzymes, or pomegranate enzymes.  Could you call me at 480-543-1121 and we can discuss this individual case further?

Regarding drop shipments, yes we do offer drop shipments.  If you are ordering on-line, change the shipping address to the customer's name and address.  In the comment section, just mention this  is a drop shipment and we will not include an invoice.  We prefer NOT to ship outside of the country; it requires customs and extra shipping fees.  We'll leave the out-of-country shipment to the esthetician.

Hey Lisa!!  I just purchased a Moderate Acne kit for a client that came in last week and has been battling Acne for the last 15 years and can't find a solution.  Her acne is mostly to me what looks rash like (allergy related).  She has gone for mineral testing and gotten on all kinds of supplements and is also receiving accupuncture for digestion/hormonal issues.  I saw the same type of acne with my cousin and we put her on the mod kit and she had wonderful results in a little over a week...sooo what I am writing to ask is:

Should she start off using the retinol scrub in the am every day and the glycolic cleanser?  I know I heard in the webinar to use gly only maybe 3 xs a week so ju7st checking.  Also, to me, her face seems more on the dry side (nose/cheeks have larger pores) but no real clogged pores really, just this rash like acne with some cystic spots that occur all throughout the month (not just hormonal).  Any suggestions?  Also any suggestions for treatments?

I have heard that you will ship direct to a client, do we just specify in the comment box and if that is the case will you exclude the packing list with pricing?  She is moving in 6 weeks to Chile...do you or will you ship out of the country?

Thanks for your help!  I am excited to get her on this product, I know everyone skin is different but I am confident she will see results.
