No waxing, only the brows. I did explain all of that to her about at least cleansing and moisturizing at night For sure also told her about her pillow cases. I recommended all except the blemish control cleanser But all and all  she does need to starting cleansing and doing better at her home care It helps to hear this and that I'm thinking on the right track .  I hope she does! Thanks Lisa

Has this client been recently waxed? Small breakouts are a healing response post-waxing.  Has there been a recent change in products? Could the skin be reacting to something? Possibly a reaction to sunscreen?   I would recommend the following:

  • Blemish Control Cleanser (then the Green Tea Citrus Cleanser after the blemishes have cleared up)
  • 2% Retinol Exfoliating Scrub 3 times a week
  • 15% Vit. C Green/Green Tea Serum mixed with Ageless Skin Hydrating Serum
  • Light Aloe Moisturizer

Certainly, the client needs to wash her face after a day of being working outside. Also, pillow cases should be changed regularly.

If anyone can help fill me in, I had a girl with tiny pores on the cheeks but still little pimples all over now if they isn't enough oils being secreted because of the small pores,  how can she have all these pimples? And they were all over the lower cheek area nothing to extract. I was just thinking maybe from working outside sweating and not washing her face at night and then with the pillowcase not being changed and repeating the process :) she is 20 :)

Hi Kimberly - we are having such a nice time on the East Coast meeting such nice, passionate estheticians.  I'm glad we had the opportunity to work hands-on with the product so you can see how fun and flexible the line is (without have too many products).  It was a pleasure to meet you and thanks for inviting us out!

Lisa, I just went to your training on July 10h in South Portland, Maine. I really enjoyed it, I learned a lot of info about skin care in general and about your products. I have been using your products for months and love them but I didn't realize how much you can do with them... like the layering treatments. I look forward to learning more about your skin care line and buy more products to try in the future. Thank you for sharng your time and wisdom with me.      Kim Dunnells

Hi Sheila - I would incorporate it with your cleansers.  I don't have a clarisonic so maybe others have comments on it here.  I'm not sure if you would overexfoliate the skin with both the clarisonic and the retinol scrub.  I think it would be a "try it and feel it out" type of thing.

Hi Lisa, I am just curious, where/when would you incorporate a Clarisonic with your skin care line?  Can you use it with any of your cleansers?  I typically use mine at night time but then I have the retinol scrub as well, would that be too much exfoliation to do clarisonic at night, retinol in the morning or even few times a week?  Plus I know some of the cleansers are exfoliating as well.  Just curious.  Thanks!!

Hi Tamara:  Thanks for your nice comment below!  I’m glad you like your samples.  Which one is the favorite?  Right now the Passionfruit is my mine.  Let me know if you have any questions on how to use them.  I can always be contacted directly at 480-543-1121 or lisa@skinscriptrx.com.  Other estheticians here might also provide some great feedback here on their favorites and how they use them.
